About BSA-UTEP

The Bangladeshi Student Association at the University of Texas at El Paso (BSA-UTEP) is a student-led organization that brings Bangladeshi students together and promotes the rich culture, heritage, and traditions of Bangladesh within the UTEP community.

We welcome current and incoming students, provide practical guidance and community support, organize cultural programs, sports, social gatherings, orientation, and networking opportunities, and strengthen connections among students, alumni, faculty, and the wider UTEP community.

Assalamu Alaikum and welcome to the Bangladeshi Student Association at UTEP. It is my privilege to serve as the President of BSA at UTEP. Our organization is more than just a student association; it is a community where we support one another, celebrate our culture, build friendships, and create a welcoming home away from home. Whether you are a new student or a longtime member, I encourage you to get involved, share your ideas, and be part of our growing BSA family. Together, we hope to make your journey at UTEP more connected, memorable, and meaningful.

Welcome to the Bangladeshi Student Association at UTEP. It is a pleasure to see our Bangladeshi student community growing stronger each year. BSA provides a wonderful platform for cultural connection, mutual support, and student engagement. I encourage everyone to participate actively and support one another throughout their academic journey. I wish BSA-UTEP and all its members continued success and a bright future.

What we do

From the first airport pickup to the last graduation photo, BSA helps members feel informed, connected, and at home.

Arrival guidance, temporary accommodation coordination, food support, campus orientation, and practical help during the transition to UTEP.

Programs that honor Bangladeshi language, history, music, food, and national traditions while sharing them with the UTEP community.
