Our story
A familiar community, thousands of miles from home.
The Bangladeshi Student Association at the University of Texas at El Paso (BSA-UTEP) is a student-led organization dedicated to bringing together Bangladeshi students and promoting the rich culture, heritage, and traditions of Bangladesh within the UTEP community.
BSA-UTEP provides a welcoming and supportive environment for both current and incoming students. Our organization helps new students adjust to life at UTEP and in El Paso by offering guidance, community support, and opportunities to connect with fellow students.
Throughout the year, BSA-UTEP organizes cultural celebrations, sports tournaments, social gatherings, student orientation programs, academic and professional networking opportunities, and other community activities. We also work to strengthen connections among Bangladeshi students, alumni, faculty, and the wider UTEP community.
Our goal is to create a strong sense of belonging, encourage friendship and collaboration, support student success, and proudly represent Bangladesh at UTEP.
